CAD – ODS offers Solidworks CAD services. ODS will deliver 2D or 3D drawings and models to your individual needs.

Total Design Solution -

As well as CAD services, ODS also offers a complete design solution. From concept through to a fully working prototype/finished product the ‘Total design solution’ offers you, the customer, the opportunity to follow the design of the solution as closely as you wish and to any point in the design process. A standard project would run as follows -

Initial contact - Olner Design Solutions - will meet with the customer and its associates to discuss, assess and analyse, in detail, the problem faced. This may lead to interviews of people involved directly and a collection of necessary data.

First phase conceptual solutions - From the initial contact ODS will generate a series of generic conceptual ideas to challenge the problem. To obtain solutions we will resource existing products that may fit to tackle the task, or create innovative designs custom made to solve the problem.

Second meeting - From here we will meet the customer again to discuss which ideas best suit their needs and expectations, to create a short list of potential solutions.

Second Phase conceptual solutions – This is the development of the short list solutions agreed on in the second meeting. With more detail and enhancement of the design solutions made.

Third meeting - Discussion of the short list ideas, with the objective of agreeing on a final concept.

Third Phase conceptual solution - Final design stage with detailed working drawings and potentially a working prototype/model of final design.

Working solution - Where agreed by the customer a working solution is created in the appropriate materials for the finished solution.

Feedback - A site visit will be organised after to ensure the solution is working as expected and to offer further assistance if required.
